Day 1: An early morning departure from North Wales as we travel to Holyhead to board the 9.00am ferry crossing to Dublin. After arriving in Ireland, the tour continues south through scenic countryside to the Killeshin Hotel & Spa in Portlaoise, our base for a relaxing three‑night stay.
Once checked in, there’s time to unwind and make full use of the hotel’s excellent leisure facilities before gathering for dinner. The evening then comes to life with entertainment from Irish singer Paul O’Donnell, providing the perfect start to our New Year break.
Day 2 (New Year’s Eve): This morning we take a leisurely excursion to Carlow, offering ample free time to explore the town’s shops, cafés and local sights at your own pace.
We depart in the early afternoon and return to the Killeshin Hotel & Spa, allowing plenty of time to prepare for this evening’s celebrations. Tonight’s Gala Dinner promises a truly special experience, followed by superb entertainment from singer Jonathan Davies and entertainer Llion Williams, ensuring the New Year is welcomed in unforgettable style.
Day 3 (New Year’s Day): After the previous night’s celebrations, enjoy a leisurely morning at the hotel, giving yourself time to relax and recover in comfortable surroundings.
Late morning, we set off for the charming city of Kilkenny, where you can spend the afternoon exploring its historic streets, browsing independent shops or simply unwinding in one of its welcoming cafés and bars.
We return to the Killeshin Hotel & Spa in the late afternoon, allowing time to refresh before a final dinner together. The evening concludes with another superb night of entertainment from Jonathan Davies and Llion Williams, bringing our New Year break to a memorable close.
Day 4: After breakfast, we bid farewell to the Killeshin Hotel & Spa and begin our journey back towards Dublin. On arrival, you’ll have a few hours at leisure to explore the city or simply relax in one of its many bars. Later in the afternoon, we make our way to Dublin Port to board the 4.30pm ferry crossing to Holyhead., upon arrival we complete our journey home.
