Tickets to the show will also allow you access to the sister shows, The Creative Craft Shows, Sewing for Pleasure Cake International AND Bake International – 5 shows for the price of 1!

You can choose to spend both days enjoying the Simply Christmas Show at the NEC, both days in Birmingham city centre or split your time with one day at the show and another exploring the Frankfurt Christmas Market and shopping in Birmingham city centre.

Birmingham has the largest authentic German market in Europe outside of Germany and Austria. The Frankfurt Market offers a wide range of products, including Christmas decorations, handcrafted jewellery, carved wooden toys, sausages, beer and pretzels. Additionally, visitors can enjoy the popular ice rink and big wheel.

The city centre is the perfect destination for all your Christmas shopping needs. The Bullring, Birmingham’s largest Shopping Centre is conveniently located, and the city boasts the largest Primark store in the country!

Day 1 (Saturday): Early morning departure from North Wales, the journey takes you to the vibrant heart of Birmingham. Once we reach our city centre hotel, we will stop to unload the luggage, you may then check-in at your convenience any time after 2.00pm.

For those wishing to spend the day in Birmingham city centre, the rest of the afternoon and evening are yours to enjoy however you choose. Whether you prefer exploring the Frankfurt Christmas Market, nearby shops and attractions, unwinding in a café or bar, or simply taking time to relax.

For those continuing to the NEC, the coach will proceed for arrival by 10.30am. Spend the day exploring Simply Christmas and the affiliated shows at the NEC before the coach departs for the hotel at 5.00pm.

Day 2 (Sunday): Enjoy breakfast at the hotel. For those wishing to travel to the shows at the NEC, the coach will depart at 9.30am. Spend a day browsing the shows until 4.00pm when we will return to the hotel.

For those remaining in Birmingham city centre, enjoy free time. It offers the perfect chance to immerse yourself in the festive atmosphere at the Frankfurt Christmas Market, where wooden stalls, traditional treats, and seasonal gifts line the city centre streets. With plenty of time for Christmas shopping, you can explore Birmingham’s Bullring Shopping Centre, mix of big-name stores and independent boutiques at your own pace.

Hotel check-out is at 12.00pm. If you plan to go shopping, you may leave your luggage with the hotel porters.

We will depart the hotel for the return journey to North Wales at 4.45pm.
