Day 1 (Saturday): Morning departure from North Wales and travel south to Oxford, giving you ample time to explore the city’s charming Christmas Market. The historic streets come alive with seasonal stalls, warm treats, and unique gift ideas, making it an ideal spot for browsing and soaking up the atmosphere.
After enjoying the market at your own pace, we continue to our hotel, The Oxford Belfry Hotel & Spa, where you can unwind and make full use of the hotel’s leisure facilities before sitting down to your evening meal.
Day 2 (Sunday): After breakfast we depart the hotel and make our way to the Blenheim Palace Christmas Market, where entrance to both the market and the palace is included.
Set within the palace’s grand courtyard and grounds, the market offers an inviting mix of artisan stalls, festive food, handcrafted gifts, and seasonal entertainment. Inside the palace, the State Rooms are transformed with spectacular Christmas displays, themed decorations, and immersive storytelling that bring the season to life. With plenty to see and explore both indoors and out, it’s a perfect way to enjoy the magic of Christmas.
We depart mid-afternoon and make the return journey home to North Wales.
