Day 1: Morning departure from North Wales and travel across to Oswaldtwistle Mills, a much‑loved shopping and heritage destination where you’ll have time at leisure to browse the boutiques, enjoy a bite to eat, or simply take in the relaxed atmosphere. After your visit,

Afterwards, we continue to our hotel for a 3-night stay, where you can unwind and make full use of the leisure facilities and spa - an ideal way to settle in and recharge before the days ahead.

Day 2: A full‑day excursion to the elegant spa town of Harrogate, where you’ll have ample time at leisure to explore its many charms. You might choose to wander through the beautiful Valley Gardens, browse the stylish boutiques, admire the town’s grand Victorian architecture, or relax in one of its famous tea rooms. Whether you prefer sightseeing, shopping, or simply soaking up the refined atmosphere, Harrogate offers a delightful day out.

Day 3: A full day excursion to Bowness-on-Windermere. A visit to Lake Windermere feels like stepping into one of England’s most serene landscapes. Surrounded by rolling fells, wooded shores, and charming lakeside villages. Visitors can wander along scenic footpaths, browse independent shops, or simply soak in the sweeping views that shift with the light.

The highlight of the day will be a leisurely cruise across the lake itself, gliding over calm waters while taking in panoramic vistas of the surrounding hills and picture‑perfect shoreline.

Day 4: We begin the day with a memorable journey on the East Lancashire Railway, travelling through charming towns and countryside aboard a heritage train that captures the spirit of classic rail travel.

After stepping off the line, we continue to Salford Quays, where you’ll have time at leisure to explore the vibrant waterfront, browse the shops, or enjoy a relaxing stroll by the water. You may also want to take the opportunity to visit the striking Imperial War Museum North (free admission), offering powerful and thought‑provoking exhibits that bring history to life. Afterwards, we make the return journey to North Wales.
