Itinerary

Day 1: Departing from North Wales, we make our way across the scenic landscape towards the charming market town of Skipton. On arrival, there’s time at leisure to explore at your own pace - perhaps wandering along the historic High Street, browsing independent shops, or taking in the impressive sight of Skipton Castle standing proudly above the town. Afterwards we continue to our hotel for a 2-night stay. Take time to relax and make use of the hotel’s leisure facilities and spa before your evening meal.

Day 2: After breakfast, we travel to Bury Station to board a heritage steam train for a round trip on the East Lancs Railway, disembarking briefly at Rawtenstall to watch the engine change ends. On our return to Bury there is time to explore the Bury Transport Museum.

We continue to Oswaldtwistle Mills, where there will be free time to browse the shops, enjoy a bite to eat, or simply relax.

Day 3: We depart the hotel and travel to York. Enjoy some time at leisure in this historic city, a place rich with character and centuries of stories. There will be ample time to wander the medieval streets, admire the magnificent York Minster, or stroll along the ancient city walls for sweeping views. Many choose to browse the independent shops of the Shambles, visit the National Railway Museum, or simply enjoy the lively cafés and riverside walks. Afterwards, we make the return journey to North Wales.
