The Creative Craft Show at the NEC Birmingham is a vibrant, hands‑on celebration of making, packed with inspiration for crafters of every skill level.

Visitors can explore hundreds of specialist exhibitors, discover new materials and techniques, and take part in interactive workshops ranging from quick Make & Take sessions to in‑depth masterclasses.

The event runs alongside Sewing for Pleasure and Fashion & Embroidery, meaning one ticket unlocks access to three specialist shows under one roof, each offering its own creative focus. From papercraft, knitting, jewellery making and mixed media to textile art, mosaics, felting and more, the show brings together expert makers, live demonstrations, and unique craft showcases—making it an unmissable destination for anyone looking to learn, shop, and spark their creativity.

You have the option of spending two days at the show or spend one day at the show and visit Coventry on Saturday or Birmingham on Sunday.

Itinerary

Day 1: Early departure from North Wales in order to arrive at the NEC approx. 10am. Enjoy a full day at The Creative Craft Show to do as you wish.

Alternatively, join the coach for an excursion to the ancient city of Coventry, known for the medieval Coventry Cathedral, which was left in ruins after a WWII bombing. A 20th-century replacement, with abstract stained glass, stands beside it. The collection at the Herbert Art Gallery & Museum includes paintings of local heroine Lady Godiva. A statue of her, naked on horseback, is nearby. Enjoy the day in Coventry to do as you wish.

We will depart for our hotel late afternoon where there will be time to enjoy the leisure facilities before your evening meal.

Day 2: After breakfast our coach will leave to take you back to the NEC. Spend another full day at The Creative Craft Show event.

Alternatively, enjoy the day in Birmingham to do as you wish. Birmingham is home to a network of canals, many of which are now lined with trendy cafes and bars. In the city centre is the Bullring Shopping Centre and the largest Primark store in the country.

We will depart for our journey home late afternoon.
