Day 1 (Monday): Morning departure from North Wales and journey south to our resort in Ilfracombe, North Devon for a 4-night stay.
Day 2 (Tuesday): Today we journey along the North Devon Coast to the charming twin resorts of Lynton and Lynmouth, spectacularly situated on the northern edge of the Exmoor National Park and linked by cliff railway. Take time to explore the unique shops and cafes. You may also want to experience the chance to take the funicular cliff lift the 500 feet from one village to the other!
We will return to the hotel during the afternoon where you can enjoy the entertainment on offer.
Day 3 (Wednesday): Enjoy an excursion to Barnstaple, on the Taw Estuary, the oldest borough in the UK and which locals lay claim to be the best ‘blooming’ town in the world, being many times winner of ‘Britain in Bloom’. Enjoy the delightful parks and gardens or the bustling high street and maze of fascinating side streets with their Georgian buildings.
Once again, we will return to the hotel during the afternoon where you can enjoy the entertainment on offer.
Day 4 (Thursday): Spend the day at leisure in the pretty resort of Ilfracombe with its pretty natural harbour. pastel houses and 14th century chapel atop Lantern Hill. Perhaps explore the Victorian hand carved beach tunnels and tidal bathing pool whilst enjoying some local ice cream!
Return to the hotel for dinner and a final evening of live music entertainment.
Day 5 (Friday): We depart North Devon after a memorable break and make the return journey home to North Wales.
