The Pan Celtic Festival promotes and fosters Celtic languages, culture, music, song and sport. Wales has been represented at the Festival since its inception in 1971. Festival enthusiasts have enjoyed some amazing highlights over the years – seeing the colourful dancers in the ancient streets of some of the Emerald Isle’s towns and listening to the traditional and modern music of the Celtic Countries.

Itinerary

Day 1 (Friday): Travel to Holyhead for our 9.00am ferry crossing to Dublin. Upon arrival we disembark and continue the journey to our hotel in Portlaoise for a 2-night stay.

Take time to relax and make use of the hotel’s leisure facilities.

Day 2 (Saturday): Enjoy breakfast before we travel to Carlow where you can enjoy a full day and evening at The Pan Celtic Festival.  The coach will make the return journey to our hotel in Portlaoise at 10.00pm, once the day’s activities are at an end.

Day 3 (Sunday): We depart Portlaoise after breakfast and travel to Dublin. There will be free time before the mid-afternoon return sailing to Holyhead. Upon arrival we complete the journey home.

The Maldron Hotel is just off junction 17 of the M7 motorway, only 5 minutes’ drive from Portlaoise town centre and O'Moore Park. It boasts a 20-metre pool, free Wi-Fi and a gym.
