Itinerary

Day 1: Depart North Wales and travel to our hotel in Morecambe for a 4-night stay. The afternoon is free to do as you wish, many hours can easily be lost strolling down the award-winning promenade with an ice-cream, soaking in the stunning views Morecambe Bay has to offer. Return to the hotel for dinner this evening.

Day 2: After a leisurely breakfast we visit Kirkby Lonsdale, situated on the edge of the Yorkshire Dales National Park. There will be free time to explore this quaint market town. We continue to Bowness-on-Windermere, explore this popular holiday village at leisure. There are cafes, restaurants, shops and places to visit, such as the World of Beatrix Potter attraction. You may also want to take a cruise along picturesque Lake Windermere.

Day 3: Today, we discover Lancaster, with its captivating past and cultured present. Visit the medieval Lancaster Castle with its 19th-century prison cells and views of the River Lune, explore Lancaster City Museum, or stroll through Williamson Park which offers woodland walks, a butterfly house and coastal views.

Lancaster's bustling Charter Market pops up in the heart of Lancaster City Centre every Wednesday, with a cosmopolitan mix of street food, store cupboard essentials and handicrafts and gifts.

Day 4: A full day at leisure in Morecambe, with activities all year round, it is a popular choice among holidaymakers. A must visit attraction is the well-loved statue of comedian Eric Morecambe. Unveiled by the Queen in 1999, it attracts tourists who queue to have their photo taken.

The stunning backdrop of Morecambe Bay and the Lake District hills looks stunning, especially in the evening with the superb lighting effects. Another point of interest is the Stone Jetty, the remnants of the former harbour, developed in 1853. With magnificent views of the Irish Sea, the Stone Jetty is a tranquil setting.

Day 5: We depart our hotel and travel to Liverpool. Enjoy a few hours at leisure in this historical maritime city before we depart mid-afternoon for our return journey home.
