LONDON – TOWER OF LONDON & 80TH ANNIVERSARY OF THE END OF WWII POPPY DISPLAY

Day 1: Early morning departure from North Wales and travel direct to London, arriving in the early afternoon after checking-in to our superb centrally located hotel, the remainder of the day is free to do as you wish in central London.

Day 2: After breakfast the coach will transfer you to the Tower of London, a secure fortress, royal Palace and infamous prison (entrance included).

During your visit you will have chance to see the Crown Jewels, the infamous Tower ravens, the moat and other outdoor public areas, Tower Green, White Tower, Bloody Tower and the Medieval Tower Battlements. Experience history where it happened at this incredible UNESCO World Heritage Site.

This year marks the 80th anniversary of Victory in Europe Day (VE Day) and the end of the Second World War. To commemorate this historic occasion, the Tower of London will once again unveil a striking poppy installation as a powerful symbol of remembrance.

You will be able to view the main installation, which is located inside the Tower of London, only a small outside section is visible to the public for free.

Ideally set in the centre of London near Russell Square, Royal National Hotel features free WiFi throughout the property and a bar.  The property is non-smoking and is situated less than 1 km from Euston Station.
