Itinerary

Day 1: Early morning departure from North Wales and travel to Gretna Green, the wedding capital of the UK with over 260 years of history and heritage. Visit the Famous Blacksmiths Shop Museum - 'Old Smithy' situated at the heart of Gretna Green village. After some time at leisure, we continue to our hotel in Drymen for a 3-night stay.

Day 2: Today we visit Scotland’s largest city, Glasgow. The day is free to do as you wish, visit Glasgow Cathedral, Kelvingrove Art Gallery & Museum, George Square, Riverside Museum, Botanical Gardens or Kelvingrove Park or simply do some shopping in the city centre.

Day 3: Full day tour to Edinburgh. Visit the many attractions or just enjoy the many sights in Edinburgh City Centre, there will be ample time to explore Scotland’s historic capital city with its imposing castle, Royal Mile, Princes Street and the Palace of Holyroodhouse, the official Scottish residence of the King.

Nestled in the heart of Edinburgh’s city centre, the Christmas Markets are usually still open until after the Hogmanay period and are well worth a visit.

Day 4: After breakfast we depart Scotland and return home to North Wales stopping en-route at Gretna Green Shopping Outlet.
