Day 1: Our first day takes us to Bicester Shopping Village in Oxford, home to more than 160 designer and fashion brands., each offering exceptional value with savings of up to 60% on the recommended retail price. We will arrive at the hotel with time to relax before dinner.
Day 2: After hearty breakfast, explore the Bombay Sapphire Distillery with a guided tour where we learn about the history of gin, Laverstoke Mill, and Bombay Sapphire. We will discover the flavours of the botanicals and their sustainable provenance which make their gin so unique. Across the sprawling Victorian architecture, discover the vapour fusion distillation process in the Dakin Still House, wander through the Botanical Dry Room, and experiment with the aromas of the ten exotic botanicals used to make Bombay Sapphire. Laverstoke Mill’s centrepiece is two magnificent intertwining glasshouses; A dazzling feat of architecture, the houses are constructed from over 700 individual panes of glass – no two are the same. No visit to a Distillery would be complete without a complimentary tipple in the Mill Bar. We depart to make the return journey to North Wales during the afternoon.
