Day 1: Depart North Wales and travel to the 4-star Waterfront Hotel in Southport for a 3-night stay. On arrival enjoy a welcome drink with cake or mince pie.
Relax or make use of the hotel’s leisure facilities before this evening’s dinner followed by live entertainment.
Day 2 (New Year’s Eve): Start the day with a traditional cooked breakfast before enjoying a free day in Southport, a seaside town with tree-lined boulevards, traditional shopping arcades and unspoilt beaches. Described as the floral capital of the North West, Southport is home to beautiful parks and gardens, with spectacular flower displays, open green spaces and Victorian features.
Return to the hotel where you can take part in the afternoon’s Bingo or Quiz, make use of the leisure facilities or relax before this evening’s festivities.
This evening sit-down to a New Year’s Eve Gala Dinner before a night of dancing featuring The Mike James Orchestra and Singers and a glass of fizz to toast the New Year at Midnight.
Day 3 (New Year’s Day): Your New Year’s Day will start with a traditional cooked breakfast, followed by a relaxing morning at the hotel to recover from the previous evening. During the late morning the coach will depart for a short excursion to Liverpool. There will be free time for some shopping in the city centre or the Albert Dock before we return to the hotel.
Alternatively, you can remain at the hotel for this afternoon’s Bingo or Quiz.
This evening enjoy a final dinner followed by live entertainment.
Day 4: After one final traditional breakfast we bid farewell with fond memories and return to North Wales. We will stop enroute in Chester.
