Day 1: Travel to our hotel in Drymen for a 3-night stay at the Winnock Hotel. We will stop en-route at Rheged in Penrith, a gallery, café, cinema, shopping venue, workplace and creative space on the edge of the Northern Lakes.
Day 2: Our first stop today is the heritage city of Perth. There will be time at leisure to take a stroll along the river, see the striking St. John’s Kirk or perhaps visit the Perth Black Watch Museum at Balhousie Castle, which offers an insight into one of the British Army’s most famous fighting units. We continue to Pitlochry, one of Perthshire's highlights, Pitlochry is famous for its Scottish hospitality, fascinating clan heritage, historic distilleries and quaint tearooms, all set against a beautiful backdrop of rolling hills and picturesque woodland.
Day 3: After breakfast we travel to the small town of Callander which serves as the gateway to Loch Lomond and the Trossachs National Park and is set beneath high, wooded crags. Enjoy a stroll through this lovely little town, stopping to discover the tea rooms and souvenir shops, and admire the stunning surrounding scenery. We continue to the traditional Scots market town of Crieff, a firm favourite with outdoor enthusiasts, set amidst Perthshire’s stunning scenery. The attractive and bustling town centre supports a wide range of family-run businesses offering the best of food and drink, clothing, gifts, crafts and arts.
Day 4: We depart Scotland and return home to North Wales stopping en-route at Gretna Green Shopping outlet.
