As one of the finest prime stock shows in Europe, the Royal Welsh Winter Fair draws crowds from far and wide to enjoy two-days packed full of competitions, festivities and Christmas shopping. This year’s Winter Fair will be held on 30th November  – 1st December 2026. Once again the showground at Llanelwedd will be full of visitors, competitors and livestock over the two day show.

Itinerary

  • Early morning departure from North Wales and travel to Builth Wells. Spend the day at the Royal Welsh Winter Fair (admission extra). First staged in 1990, the Winter Fair is now firmly established as one of the most popular attractions on the British agricultural show calendar. Leading stockmen from all over the UK compete for the top accolades in the competitions running throughout the two-day event.

    Away from the judging rings the very best of Welsh food producers will be showcasing their produce and Christmas shoppers can explore the hundreds of trade stands, demonstrations and exhibitions and festive atmosphere.

    We depart late afternoon and return home to North Wales.
