Day 1: Travel to Scotland and the village of Drymen near Loch Lomond for a 4-night stay at the Winnock Hotel.
Day 2: Aberfoyle Woollen Mill & Loch Katrine Cruise: This morning we visit to Aberfoyle Woollen Mill where you view a Sheep Dog show. We continue to Loch Katrine with its stunning views, you can discover the natural beauty of this legendary Loch as we take a Lady of the Lake Cruise with afternoon tea served on board.
Day 3: Balmaha to Luss Cruise & Inveraray: Travel to Balmaha, on the east side of Loch Lomond and enjoy a scenic 30-minute cruise, passing the middle islands of Loch Lomond, known as ‘the jewels in her crown’, to the pretty village of Luss. Continue to the town Inveraray on the shore of Loch Fyne. Its imposing castle was once the ancestral home of the Duke of Argyll.
Day 4: The Kelpies and Edinburgh: A guided tour of the Kelpies (mythical water horses), the worlds largest equine sculptures which includes an inside visit. Marvel at the complexity and engineering which created these fantastic pieces of art, photographs can only hint at how magnificent these 30-metre high sculptures actually are. Continue to Edinburgh where there will be time to explore Scotland’s resplendent capital city.
Day 5: Depart after breakfast for the return journey home to North Wales.
