Day 1: Travel to Scotland with a stop at Gretna Green. Then to our hotel in the village of Drymen for a four-night stay. Enjoy a welcome drinks reception on arrival followed by your evening meal and entertainment this evening.
Day 2: Christmas Eve: Today we visit the Kingdom of Fife and St Andrews, renowned for its golf and Scotland’s oldest university, the town also has a castle, cathedral and sandy beaches. The town is home to the University of St Andrews, the third oldest university in the English-speaking world and the oldest in Scotland. St Andrews is also known worldwide as the ‘home of golf’ this is because of The Royal and Ancient Golf Club of St Andrews and the famous St Andrews links golf course, the most frequent venue for The Open Championship.
This evening enjoy a three-course evening meal followed by entertainment.
Day 3: Christmas Day: This Morning we visit Loch Lomond Shores Shopping Outlet, after some time to peruse the shops we continue to Scotland’s largest city, Glasgow. The afternoon is free to do as you wish, visit Glasgow Cathedral, Kelvingrove Art Gallery & Museum, George Square, Riverside Museum, Botanical Gardens or Kelvingrove Park or simply do some Christmas Shopping in the city centre.
This evening sit-down to a Traditional Christmas Dinner with all the trimmings followed by a visit from Father Christmas with a gift for all.
Day 4: New Year’s Eve: A full day’s tour to Edinburgh, there will be ample time to explore Scotland’s historic capital city with its imposing castle, Royal Mile, Princes Street and the Palace of Holyroodhouse and to visit the Christmas Market.
Celebrate ‘Hogmanay’ this evening with a Traditional Scottish Dinner followed by Scottish Show entertainment.
Day 5: After a farewell hot toddy we depart Scotland and return home to North Wales stopping en-route at Gretna Green Shopping Outlet.
