Itinerary

Day 1: Early departure from North Wales in order to arrive at the NEC approx. 10am. Enjoy a full day at The Festival of Quilts Show to do as you wish.

Alternatively, join the coach for an excursion to the ancient city of Coventry, known for the medieval Coventry Cathedral, which was left in ruins after a WWII bombing. A 20th-century replacement, with abstract stained glass, stands beside it. The collection at the Herbert Art Gallery & Museum includes paintings of local heroine Lady Godiva. A statue of her, naked on horseback, is nearby. Enjoy the day in Coventry to do as you wish.

We will depart for our hotel late afternoon where there will be time to enjoy the leisure facilities before your evening meal.

Day 2: After breakfast our coach will leave to take you back to the NEC. Spend another full day at The Festival of Quilts Show event.

Alternatively, enjoy the day in Birmingham to do as you wish. Birmingham is home to a network of canals, many of which are now lined with trendy cafes and bars. In the city centre is the Bullring Shopping Centre and the largest Primark store in the country.

We will depart for our journey home late afternoon.
